The Punjab CM launched the Blue Line public transportation project from Kalma Chowk to Old Airport.

LAHORE: According to Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, the Blue Line mass transit project from Model Town to Data Sahib Chowk and the former airport in the provincial capital has been launched. This is a very good news to Lahore city which is the second largest city in Pakistan. Lahore will be divided into three different districts and the Blue Line will provide a great convenience to citizens.

The Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (PCBDDA) is responsible for the development of the CBD Punjab Boulevard.In 180 days, the R4.2 billion project will be finished.

The 615-meter-long business boulevard will make getting to Barkat Market, Jail Road and Ali Zaib Road easy, hassle-free and without traffic jams.

The Boulevard is expected to accommodate more than 250,000 cars per day.

CM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi assured that the government is committed to the development of Punjab as a developed welfare province and we are working hard to ensure the well being of the people of Punjab.

Progress in Punjab has given the Punjab Cricket Board a prominent position in the world cricket circuit.

The authority’s jurisdiction is now extending to cover the entire province of Punjab, for this reason.
